Refund and cancellation

Cancel any time

The plan is month to month. A cancellation stops the next renewal and leaves the current paid period in place.

How to cancel

You may cancel in the Stripe billing portal or by sending written notice to support@collistercomputing.com. If you use both methods, the earlier date counts.

There is no cancellation fee or required notice period. You do not have to give a reason.

Current-month charges

The first $99 charge is made at signup. There is no trial. Later charges are made monthly.

A month that has already been charged is not refunded. Service continues through the end of that paid billing period. No new monthly charge is taken after the cancellation takes effect.

There is one separate exception in the Website Care Plan Agreement. In the circumstances covered by Idaho law, you may cancel the original transaction within three business days of receiving the written confirmation. A valid use of that statutory right returns any payment already collected within ten business days. See Agreement Sections 2.4 and 9.

What happens to the site

The site stays online through the end of the paid period. Hosting under the plan then ends and the site comes down.

If you want the site to remain online elsewhere, you need another host. Moving the site or setting up outside hosting can be quoted separately.

What you keep

You keep ownership of the words, photos, business information, and other content you supplied. Collister Computing returns that material within seven calendar days when requested, at no charge.

You keep your domain. If Collister Computing registered it for you, the transfer starts when you cancel and finishes within five business days. It is free and is not held over an unpaid balance.

The finished site files become yours after six monthly payments. If you cancel earlier and want them, you may pay the balance up to six payments. That choice is not a debt. If you do not want the files, you owe nothing beyond the month already charged.
